People stash links from social and chat, then cannot find them. Browser bookmarks are not that job.

What people do today
WhatsApp starred messages, Telegram Saved, Chrome bookmarks, Reddit/YouTube saves, screenshots of URLs. Cross-app search does not exist.
Who already won the obvious version
Pocket (faded), Raindrop, Chrome, read-later apps, Notion. Big players want accounts and clipper extensions. Android share-to-inbox is still clumsy.
Where a small team can still work
A share-sheet inbox with local search, tags from the source app, unread vs. used, and optional later-read. Offline snapshots for dying links. Privacy: do not upload the reading list by default.
How to validate before you build
Ask what they did with the last ten shared links. If the answer is “it’s in WhatsApp somewhere,” prototype share → inbox → search. Measure 7-day return, not installs from “bookmark manager” keywords (SEO junk).
