It is separate from the GIXSOFT homepage at https://gixsoft.com. This policy explains how we access, use, store, and share information when you use our website and mobile apps, including Google user data when you choose Google Sign-In or Google Drive features. GIXSOFT is the data controller for the practices described here unless a product-specific notice states otherwise.

Scope

This policy covers:

The public website at gixsoft.com (catalog, about, contact, and legal pages)
GIXSOFT Android apps distributed on Google Play
Optional cloud, account, and Google-integrated features where you enable them in a given app

Google user data we collect

When you use Google-integrated features in a supported GIXSOFT app (such as QuickNote: Simple Notes), we may access or receive the following categories of Google user data only if you approve the relevant permissions:

Google account email address — to identify your account and communicate about account-related requests
Google user ID (stable account identifier) — to associate your app account and optional cloud data with your sign-in
Basic profile information from Google Sign-In (such as display name and profile photo) — only if included in the scopes you approve
Google Drive files and content you choose to back up or sync — limited to app-created or app-selected folders and files (such as notes, attachments, and backup archives) when you enable Google Drive backup or sync
File metadata needed for backup or sync (such as file names, timestamps, and identifiers) — when Google Drive integration is enabled

We do not request access to Gmail, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or other Google services beyond the specific scopes shown to you in the Google permission screen for that app. If you do not sign in with Google or enable Google Drive features, we do not collect Google user data from you.

How we use Google user data

We use Google user data only to provide or improve the functionality of the GIXSOFT app you are using. Specifically, we use it to:

Authenticate you and maintain your app account when you sign in with Google
Associate your notes, settings, and optional cloud data with your account
Back up, restore, or sync content when you enable Google Drive integration
Respond to support requests you submit about your account
Protect the security and integrity of the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors
Comply with applicable law

We do not use Google user data for targeted advertising, interest-based advertising, retargeting, creditworthiness determination, lending, creating advertising profiles, building databases for unrelated purposes, training AI models, or any purpose unrelated to providing or improving the app's user-facing features.

How we share, transfer, or disclose Google user data

We do not sell, rent, or license Google user data to third parties. We may share, transfer, or disclose Google user data only in these limited circumstances:

With Google — when you use Google Sign-In, Google Drive, or Google Play services as part of the features you enable; data stored in Google Drive remains in your Google account under Google's policies
With service providers (subprocessors) — such as cloud hosting providers that help us operate optional account or sync backends, bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations and permitted to use the data only to provide services to GIXSOFT
When required by law — such as a valid legal request, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security
With your direction — when you choose to export, sync, or store data through a feature you control

We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties for targeted advertising, selling to data brokers, providing to information resellers, creditworthiness determination, lending, or other purposes unrelated to providing or improving the app's functionality.

Sale of Google user data

GIXSOFT does not sell Google user data to third parties. We do not share Google user data with data brokers or information resellers.

How we protect Google user data

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect Google user data and other personal information, including:

Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for data transmitted between the app, our services, and Google APIs
Access controls that limit who can access production systems and user data on a need-to-know basis
Logical separation of user accounts and cloud data where optional sync or account features are provided
Review of Google API permissions and integrations to request only what is needed for enabled features
Monitoring and incident-response practices for security issues affecting our services

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You can revoke GIXSOFT's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account security settings at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Retention and deletion of Google user data

We retain Google user data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

Delete Account and Data Request

Google account and profile data linked to your app account — until you delete your account, revoke Google access, uninstall the app and delete associated cloud data, or submit a deletion request
Content stored in Google Drive — under your control in your Google account; you may delete it from Drive or disable sync/backup in the app
Server-side copies of deleted account data — removed within a reasonable period; backup copies may remain for up to 30 days before permanent deletion
Support records that reference your Google account email — retained only as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable business records

When retention periods expire or you complete a valid deletion request, we delete or anonymize applicable data unless a longer period is required by law. You may request deletion of account or cloud data held by our services using the process linked below.

Website — information we collect

When you use gixsoft.com (this policy is hosted at gixsoft.com/privacy, not on the homepage alone), we may process:

Information you submit through contact forms (name, email, company, topic, and message)
Technical data in hosting and CDN logs (such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps)
Your selected display language when passed in the page URL (for example, ?locale=en-US)
A theme preference stored locally in your browser (gixsoft-theme); not sent to our servers

Website — third-party services

The website uses:

Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security for gixsoft.com
Google Fonts — web fonts loaded from Google servers when you visit the site
FormSubmit.co — delivers contact form submissions to us

Website use of Google Fonts does not involve Google user data from your app account. Links to Google Play leave gixsoft.com and are governed by Google's policies.

Website — cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on gixsoft.com at this time. We do not sell personal information collected through the website.

Mobile apps — other information we collect

Depending on the app and features you use, we may also process:

Content you create in the app (notes, attachments, reminders), stored primarily on your device for offline-first apps like QuickNote: Simple Notes
Device permissions you approve (such as notifications for reminders or storage access for attachments)
Crash or diagnostic data only if described in that app's Google Play listing

Mobile apps — third-party services

GIXSOFT apps may integrate:

Google Play — distribution and updates
Google Sign-In and Google Drive API — when you enable those features
Google Play Billing — in-app purchases, where offered
Google AdMob — only in apps where advertising is enabled; AdMob in those apps does not use Google OAuth user data from Sign-In for ad personalization as described in this policy's Google user data sections

Only integrations listed in a given app's store listing apply to that app.

Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information, including Google user data, from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Your choices and rights

You may:

Decline Google Sign-In and use offline/local features where available
Revoke Google account access for GIXSOFT apps in your Google Account settings
Disable Google Drive backup or sync in the app and delete related files from Drive
Uninstall the app or clear app storage for local data
Request deletion of account or cloud data we hold — see the deletion page linked above

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we change our website, apps, or how we handle data. The current version is always published at https://gixsoft.com/privacy with the last updated date above. If we materially change how a GIXSOFT app accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data, we will provide additional notice in the app or by other reasonable means before the change takes effect where required by law or platform policy.
